I-95 North Delayed Following Crash With Injuries Near Woolbright Road Exit
The left four lanes of Interstate 95 northbound were blocked following a crash with injuries, authorities said. The crash occurred before the Woolbright Road exit, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
‘This is a vehicle crash with injuries and a roadblock,’ said the FHP spokeswoman.
The FHP said a truck towing a van struck a Kia Picanto and overturned. The Kia Pricanto driver, the tow truck driver and two occupants from the van that was being towed suffered various degrees of injuries, troopers said.
First emergency responders arrived at the site of the crash soon after the accident happened and the victims were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Two men were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, the FHP said. The woman suffered critical injuries and was also taken to the same hospital, according to troopers.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
