Lake Worth man, 46, dies from rollover crash on I-95 in Boynton Beach

BOYNTON BEACH, FL – A 46-year-old man’s life was claimed in an I-95 rollover crash in Boynton Beach Friday. 

WPTV said the collision happened around 4:30 am. A 2019 Mercedes Benz coupe slammed into the back of a 2021 Lexus SUV. The impact of the crash caused the Mercedes Benz to overturn and ejected the driver from the vehicle. 

The Mercedes Benz driver was a man from Lake Worth. He succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. 

The Lexus SUV driver was a 52-year-old man from Greenacres. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and a passenger in his car was unharmed. 

Florida Highway Patrol has not released the names of the drivers. 

Following the collision, the southbound lanes of I-95 closed and have reopened since.
