The wife of the crash victim confirms his name was Christian Hills. She said her husband was a postal worker at the Tequesta/Jupiter branch.

A preliminary investigation determined Christian Hills was traveling north on Alternate A1A and collided with a white Lexus that was making a left turn at the intersection of Barrow Island Road. Hills was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center where he listed in critical condition. The driver of the Lexus remained on the scene and did not sustain any injuries.

Sessums’s wife said, “Brian is a little rough around the edges, but he loved so fiercely. Anyone that he came into contact with, he befriended and would bend over backwards and would give you the shirt off his back if he could.”

Police say the investigation into the crash is ongoing. Anyone with relevant information concerning the crash is encouraged to contact the Florida Highway Patrol Department or any other relevant investigating authority.
