Man, 28, Dies In Hit-And-Run Crash Near Palm Springs
PALM SPRINGS – A 28-year-old Port St. Lucie man died in a hit-and-run crash near Palm Springs, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.
Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene at Military Trail’s northbound lanes near Purdy Lane, just east of the village limits.
Evidence found at the scene suggests the vehicle that struck him may be a late model Ford F-150, possibly from the years 2016 to 2018, PBSO said.
He was trying to cross Military from east to west when the northbound vehicle struck him. A friend who was with him removed him from the roadway before emergency personnel arrived.
As of the time of this report, investigators had not found any witnesses to the crash.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County at 1-800-458-TIPS (8477) or PBSO Investigator A. Loudermilk either at 561-681-4541 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
