Man, 69, Dies After Truck Crashes Into Tree, Wall
WEST PALM BEACH — A 69-year-old man died after his pickup crashed into a tree and a wall in suburban West Palm Beach, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.
He lost control of the 2019 Chevrolet Colorado he was driving on Woodstock Drive off Military Trail north of Okeechobee Boulevard, near Keiser University.
The eastbound truck drifted westward across traffic lanes and the road’s shoulder, then onto the sidewalk before striking the tree and a wall at the Westchester Apartments. The PBSO crash report said the driver lived in the complex.
Paramedics took him to St. Mary’s Medical Center where doctors pronounced him dead, PBSO said.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to distracted driving. “In my many years as a Personal Injury Lawyer I’ve helped many victims that were injured because someone was distracted and crashed into their vehicles. If you’ve been injured by someone because they weren’t paying attention to the road, please call me so I can help you get compensation for your damages.”
