Man Dies From Critical Injuries Sustained In Crash Near Boynton Beach
A 29-year-old man died after he was injured in a crash near Boynton Beach, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Another driver was speeding on Military Road just north of Gateway Boulevard when he lost control of his 2009 Honda Accord and hit the victim’s vehicle, according to authorities. He was 3 miles away from his home, according to records.
The Accord struck a bus stop sign, then a utility pole, where it came to its final rest. Investigators said the victim was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. When authorities arrived, the suburban Boynton Beach resident was found unconscious and they transported him to Delray Medical Center with critical injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Some days later, he died as a result of his injuries from the crash, according to the report. PBSO did not provide further details.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded about the crash. “Driving the speed limit on Florida’s Highways isn’t just the law. It may save your life by keeping you from being in an accident. Unfortunately, in our practice, we have seen numerous instances where drivers blatantly violate these regulations, which results in catastrophic consequences.”
