Man killed by pickup truck in Belle Glade

BELLE GLADE, FL – A 72-year-old man was killed on Friday while attempting to cross the street in Belle Glade, the Palm Beach Post reports. 

The victim was at the intersection of South Main Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard when he was struck by a  2019 Chevy pickup truck around 7 p.m. The truck was northbound on South Main and had a green light.

The man suffered severe injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where he died two hours later.
