Man Killed In Crash In West Palm Beach
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A man was killed after getting hit by a car, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.
The crash happened on Military Trail and Edward Road, according to the sheriff’s office. The northbound lanes of Military Trail in that area were completely shut down for hours.
A man, 47, was crossing east on Military Trail from the median where there was no crosswalk when he was hit by a Toyota Corolla driven by a man, the sheriff’s office said. He swerved to avoid the collision, but the pedestrian darted into the path of his car.
The driver and his female passenger stayed on the scene, according to the sheriff’s office. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s unclear where he lived.
