Man seriously injured after car crashes into Boca Raton home

BOCA RATON, FL – A 70-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after a driver crashed into his Boca Raton home, WPTV reports. 

The victim was at work in his home office on Tavernier Drive when a vehicle that was travelling at twice the speed limit crashed into his house.

He became trapped under the vehicle and had to be rescued by first responders.

The driver, a 67-year-old man, is not believed to have been under the influence.
