Martin County Two-Vehicle Car Crash Leaves Several People Injured
A 45-year-old man and his 26-year-old girlfriend were driving in his blue Ford Bronco when a taxi driver reportedly made a left turn in front of a 45-year-old driver and the vehicles crashed, flipping the truck over, Florida Highway Patrol reports.
The 45-year-old driver left the scene uninjured, but was visibly angry, according to the reports, and people allegedly had to restrain him from going after the other driver.
An ambulance took six passengers in the taxi to the hospital for minor injuries. An eyewitness said, the 47-year-old driver appeared to be concerned about them.
Law enforcement officials told Florida Highway Patrol that the accident was not the 45-year old driver’s fault.
Reports confirmed that the Florida Highway Patrol Department is handling the case, but no further information had been made available.
The 30-year-old taxi driver is still unconscious and hasn’t been able to make any comment on the crash yet. The truck driver and his 12-year-old passenger were reported critical in Delray Medical Center, according to the Florida Highway Patrol officials.
Reps for the 45-year-old driver didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.
Police said the crash is still under investigation.
