Motorcycle Driver, Hunter White Age 22, Dies In Crash With Pick-up In Boca Raton
He was only 22-years-old and lived in Boynton Beach. He was described by his family as a “daredevil”. Tragicly he died when his motorcycle collided with a truck.
Hunter White loved heights (“the higher the better”), his five cats, his two siblings, exploring the outdoors and riding his motorcycle, his family said in his obituary.
“He never had a car,” his father, Robert Gerweck, said in an interview with The Post on Tuesday. “I think it was the freedom of no restrictions.”
White was riding his 2000 Suzuki coming home from his job as a server at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, when the bike collided with a Chevy pickup on West Palmetto Park Road just east of Interstate 95.
White was rushed to Delray Medical Center, where he died from his injuries. The driver of the pickup, identified as Marcus Tauber, 20, of Boca Raton, was not injured.
The crash had West Palmetto Park Road closed down for over 3 hours while the accident was investigated and the scene cleared.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Shuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to this unfortunate accident on the Florida Turnpike: “This is a tragic accident that resulted in a death to the man driving the motorcycle apparently at a high rate of speed. Please be careful whenever you are driving a motorcycle, car, SUV or truck. If you have been injured in an accident, call my office for a free consultation to find out what are your rights”.
