No injuries in Boynton Beach school bus accident

BOYNTON BEACH, FL – A three-vehicle accident involving a school bus in Boyton Beach did not result in any injuries, WPTV reports.

The accident was caused when two vehicles each attempted to go around a stopped bus illegally. The bus was stopped with its sign out on southbound Lawrence Road near the Whispering Pines neighborhood.

A red pinkup truck approaching from the north was attempting to go around the bus. At the same time, a southbound Dodge Charger tried to pass the bus and make a left turn.

The truck and the Charger collided and caused the truck to strike the bus.

No injuries were reported. At the time of the crash no children had yet boarded the bus.
