One Dead, One Seriously Injured In Four-Vehicle Crash
LAKE WORTH, Fla. — One person is dead and another seriously injured after a four-vehicle crash in Lake Worth, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said a driver, 25, was speeding on Hypoluxo Road and ran the red light at Jog Road.
He crashed into another driver, 49, and that car hit a stopped Jeep which pushed it into a fourth vehicle. According to a report, the 25-year-old driver was thrown from his car and sustained serious injuries.
The report said the other driver died at the scene.
Officials said everyone else involved walked away unharmed.
The sheriff’s office is looking into whether alcohol might have been involved in the accident.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
