One killed after train strikes SUV in Lake Worth Beach

LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fl – One person was killed on Sunday after their SUV was struck by a Brightline Train in Lake Worth Beach, CW 34 reports.

The accident occurred near the intersection of 17th Avenue North and F Street around 4 p.m.

A witness reported that the train blew its horn multiple times before the crash and that the SUV attempted to beat the train.

The driver of the SUV died at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
