One killed in Miami Gardens crash

MIAMI GARDENS, FL – One person is dead after a collision in Miami Gardens caused their Tesla to catch fire, WFTL reports. 

The accident occurred early Monday morning near the intersection of Northwest 17th Avenue and 157th Street. The cause of the crash is not clear at this time.

The collision caused a fire that completely consumed the Tesla and trapped the driver inside. They died at the scene.
