One killed in Palm Springs accident

PALM SPRINGS, FL – An accident in Palm Springs resulted in one death on Wednesday morning, WPTV reports. 

The crash occurred at the intersection of South Military Trail and Forest Hill Boulevard around 2 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

A 28-year-old woman from Boca Raton was travelling north at high speeds on South Military Trail in a Dodge Challenger.

She then collided head-on with an Acura ILX driven by a 38-year-old woman from Palm Beach County.

The driver of the Dodge was killed in the crash and is suspected of being under the influence of drugs at the time of the crash. The Acura driver sustained serious injuries but is expected to survive.
