One Man And Two Others Have Been Hospitalized After Boynton Beach Car Crash
A man was critically injured after a car crash near Lyons Road and Hypoluxo Road in suburban Boynton Beach.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and the Florida Highway Patrol officials arrived to the scene of the crash and found the car upside down.
Investigators and the Florida Highway Patrol officials determined that a 2006 Dodge Viper, driven by 34-year-old Bruce Greg, was traveling at a rate of speed well above the posted speed limit at the time of the crash.
The involvement of a second vehicle, which the Florida Highway Patrol officials believe is a Honda Accord, is being investigated.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the two vehicles involved in the crash were reported to have been involved in a road rage incident or a race when Bruce lost control of his car, left the roadway and struck a Honda Accord, which was traveling in an opposite direction.
There was no reports on whether the driver of the Honda Accord sustained a life-threatening injuries or not.
Bruce was critically injured at the crash scene. Two passengers in his vehicle were taken to a hospital.
Police said the driver of the Honda Accord refused to submit a breath test and was taken into custody.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact the Florida Highway Patrol officials.
