One Man Has Been Sent To The Hospital After Palm Beach Gardens Crash That Also Caused Severe Nitrogen Leakage
A car crashed through a fence close to Jog Road near Beeline Highway critically injuring a man and then striking a pipe, according to the Florida Highway Patrol Department.
The car crash resulted in the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crew transporting the injured man to a hospital after trying to stop a nitrogen leak along Beeline Highway.
The Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews worked alongside the Palm Beach Gardens authorities at the crash scene near the intersection of Jog and Beeline Road.
The man’s car went through a fence and then hit a pipe along the road, which then triggered the leak.
The county fire rescue authorities said the line carried nitrogen and not natural gas. Two other vehicles were involved in the crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol, but no one was else was hurt.
Both the Beeline and train tracks were shut down while Palm Beach County Fire Rescue worked toward fixing the leak.
Anyone with relevant information concerning what may have caused the accident is asked to contact the Florida Highway Patrol.
