A 53-year-old White City resident had just hopped out of the cab of his 18-wheeler after pulling up to the market’s main terminal in St. Lucie County. A fellow truck driver ran him over while backing up to a loading dock, according to police.

The man was rushed to Delray Medical Center. The other truck driver remained on the scene and has not been charged with a crime.

The trucker was the third person to be injured by a vehicle, police said.

In Martin County, a 32-year-old man was struck and left critical when he tried to run across the Long Island Expressway near 169th Street.

A SUV slammed into the intoxicated man near Exit 24, sending his body flying down the roadway. The victim was later rushed to a hospital in Martin County.

Later on, a 22-year-old motorcyclist was speeding down 140th Avenue in Broward County when a 55-year-old woman in a Toyota Highlander struck him as she was turning onto the same road from Coconut Creek Street, cops said.

The woman remained at the scene and has not been charged with a crime.

Meanwhile, two other people were clinging to life after separate traffic crashes in Broward County, cops said.

A 19-year-old is in critical condition at Palm Beach Hospital after his vehicle flipped and slammed into a row of parked cars while speeding down Wellington near Beach 6th Street, cops said.
