Passenger killed in high-speed crash on Dolphin Expy.

MIAMI, FL – A passenger was killed in a single-vehicle crash near the Miami International Airport on Monday.

According to a report by the Miami Herald, the crash occurred at about 3 a.m. along the Dolphin Expressway, near Northwest 42nd Avenue.

Troopers say the driver lost control of his red Corvette and slammed into a concrete barrier and a guardrail before coming to rest in the median.

A female passenger in the Corvette suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The male driver sustained minor injuries.
