A male pedestrian and his Welsh Terrier were injured after a collision on Southeast Floresta Drive in Port St. Lucie.

The accident occurred when two vehicles collided along Floresta Drive. The impact of the collision sent one of the vehicles skidding towards the direction of the pedestrian and his dog.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, one of the vehicles involved, a 2004 Chevy truck, was in the northbound lane of the road when it strayed into the southbound lane, colliding with a blue Honda Civic.
