Pedestrian killed in West Palm Beach hit-and-run crash

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – One life was claimed in a hit-and-run crash on Okeechobee Boulevard around 5 a.m. Monday. 

A man was hit by a car after crossing the street on Okeechobee Boulevard, WPTV reported. He came from the center median when he was struck by the vehicle. 

The driver did not render aid and drove away. 

The pedestrian succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
