Pickup truck struck by Brightline Train in Wilton Manors

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – A pickup truck pulling a car carrier was struck by a Brightline train in the Wilton Manors area on Thursday evening.

According to WSVN, the crash occurred at about 4 p.m. near the intersection of Northeast 26th Street and North Dixie Highway.

The events surrounding the crash are unclear at this time. Fortunately, no one was injured as result. However, the train and an SUV on the trailer sustained significant damages.
