Police Investigate Homicide After Car Crash Off PB Lakes Blvd And Australian Ave

Police is investigating the crime scene at Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard and North Australian Avenue where a Nissan Altima flipped over.

West Palm Beach police are investigating a homicide after a two-vehicle rollover crash. Officers were called to a vehicle that had rolled over at the intersection of Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard and North Australian Avenue as a result of the driver being shot.

Officers found a man and transported him to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. The man, 25, is from West Palm Beach.

Investigators say the shooting was not a random act and believe that the victim was targeted. This is the third homicide within city limits this year.

Several roads were closed as detectives investigated including:

Southbound traffic at Australian at 25th and 15th Street

Northbound traffic Australian Avenue

7th Street at Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard
