Police officer hospitalized after being struck by car in Boynton Beach

BOYNTON BEACH, FL – A Boynton Beach police officer was hospitalized after being struck by a car on Thursday night, WPBF reports. 

The officer was on Meadows Way near Freedom Shores Elementary School on a service call when he was hit.

Although details of the crash are not currently available to the public, it has been reported that the officer is currently in stable condition.

The driver remained on the scene and is not expected to face charges.
