Sahara Wyne And Cameron Dale Dead After Crash Near Downtown West Palm

Two people identified as Sahara Wyne and Cameron Dale are dead and three others injured after an accident at the intersection Banyan Boulevard and North Australian Avenue, West Palm Beach police said.

The two-car wreck killed the front seat passengers in both vehicles, according to authorities. Both drivers and a third passenger were injured as well.

Authorities said that a Nissan Altima was speeding north on Australian Avenue in West Palm when it crashed into a Toyota Camry that was heading west on Banyan and about to turn south onto Australian Ave.

The Altima hit a palm tree and slid down the embankment by Clear Lake, but never went into the water.

A Lincoln traveling south on Australian saw the crash and stopped. That driver said the Camry’s front passenger, 35-year-old Sahara Wyne, was thrown from the car and hit the Lincoln’s front bumper. Wyne, who lived in West Palm Beach, died at a hospital. The Camry’s driver was seriously injured in the wreck, and police said it is unclear whether he will survive. They have not publicly identified that man.

The Altima’s front passenger, 26-year-old Cameron Dale of Riviera Beach, died at the scene. The Altima’s driver, a 24-year-old, broke both of his legs, but is expected to survive. The back passenger, 25-year-old, sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash. Police arrested him on a charged of carrying a concealed firearm. Records indicate they both live in Riviera Beach as well.

Authorities are asking anyone who saw the crash or who has information about it to call West Palm Beach police
