Saqueo DeJesus, Age 59, Was Struck By Mary Brown While He Was Riding His Bicycle In Belle Glade
Two Belle Glade residents where involved in the accident with one death.
In Belle Glade, a local man was struck and killed by a car according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Saqueo DeJesus, age 59, was riding his bicycle northbound at the intersection of Southwest Avenue F and South Main Street. It was reported that he crossed the path of a 2016 Chevrolet driven by Mary Brown, 69, of Belle Glade.
The crash took place at 6 p.m. DeJesus was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, where he later was pronounced dead. .
The Chevrolet was turning westbound onto Avenue F when the crash happened. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office report says that DeJesus crossed into the vehicle’s path and was hit by the Chevrolet driven by Ms. Brown.
Traffic was diverted around this accident for over two hours while the scene was being investigated and cleared.
