Seven People Have Been Injured After Car Crash In Broward County
Three people were severely injured and four others sustained minor injuries in a violent crash in Deerfield Beach when a car veered across a road into oncoming traffic.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office has not yet identified those involved in the four-vehicle collision that happened on the 4300 block of West Hillsboro Boulevard.
Further investigations are ongoing to find out the names of the victims wounded in the car wreck.
A 34-year-old woman’s mother, a 21-year old of Coral Springs and one other person was taken to Broward Health North Medical Center for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening, officials said.
Another person, a 53-year-old of Boca Raton and three others were treated at the scene of the crash.
According to investigators, a 22-year-old lost control of the Bentley truck she was driving and veered across the eastbound lanes of West Hillsboro Boulevard, crossed over the raised center median and struck three vehicles in the westbound lanes. A Nissan Altima, a Chrysler 200, and a Hyundai Sonata were the vehicles involved.
Witnesses and evidence indicated the Dodge was speeding at the time, the sheriff’s office said.
