Seven Transported To Hospital After Car Crash In Boca
Seven people were rushed to Delray Medical Center after a three-vehicle crash in West Palmetto Park Road, Boca Raton police reported.
The accident occurred on the 900 block of North Federal Highway, south of the Glades Road. First emergency responders arrived shortly after the accident happened. The spokeswoman said one the vehicles had just left a parking lot prior to the accident. Other details were not made available.
“That is a pretty big call for me and my team,” said the Assistant Chief “That is kind of rare.”
Police had not yet identified anyone involved in the car crash. Five out of the seven were critically injured, while the other two suffered non life threatening injuries. A Boca Raton Fire Rescue spokesman said all the seven people in the three vehicles injured and transported to a nearby hospital.
A spokeswoman for Boca Raton police said investigations are ongoing.
