Six People Have Been Transported To The Hospital After Tractor Trailer Collided With Car In Palm Beach County

A total of six people have been seriously injured after a crash involving a tractor trailer and several cars in Palm Beach County.

The truck had intersected with a SUV while trying to make a turn. The crash left a total number of six passengers in the SUV seriously injured.

The motorway was closed northbound near junction 24 after emergency services were called to the scene in Boynton Beach, Palm Beach County.

Drivers are being advised to avoid the area, where there is heavy traffic.

A statement released by police said six people were seriously injured.

A FHP Inspector said: “I’m very sad to report six people have been transported to the hospital with injuries.”

“There’s been a number of other people injured who have been taken to hospital.

“An investigation of this nature will take some time and I’d like to apologize to the number of people caught up in the quite-sizable tailback.”

The southbound roadway would stay closed while the scene was investigated and the road was repaired. Although the northbound roadway was re-opened.
