The four women were critically injured after the 2006 Honda Accord, that a 29-year old was driving, crossed the median into oncoming traffic on Military Trail and was struck by a 2001 Ford F-150.

The Honda was traveling southbound on Military Trail north of Lantana Road when she lost control for unknown reasons, Florida Highway Patrol Officials said.

The Accord spun counterclockwise and crossed the center median into northbound lanes.

The front of the Ford pickup smashed into the Accord’s passenger side.

A 37-year-old driver, also of the Palm Springs area, was driving the F-150 and sustained serious injuries, Palm Beach Sheriff Office said. He remained at Delray Medical Center.

A passenger in the pickup was not injured.

The crash shut down a portion of Military Trail for several hours. Rescue workers were forced to cut two of the victims out of their vehicles.

Anyone with relevant information concerning the crash is asked to contact the Florida Highway patrol Department.

Accident attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to this unfortunate crash. “This is a serious accident resulting in injuries.
