SUV destroyed by Brightline Train in North Miami

NORTH MIAMI, FL – An SUV was destroyed after being struck by a Brightline Train moments after its occupants escaped in North Miami.

According to CBS Miami, the crash occurred around 5 p.m. on Wednesday evening. The SUV was parked in near the intersection of Biscayne Boulevard and NE 141 Street. As the train approached, a woman and her children got out of the car and ran off the tracks.

It is not clear why the vehicle was stuck on the tracks. No one was injured in the incident.
