Three Critical In Fiery Port St. Lucie County Car Crash

Three people had been taken to the hospital after a fiery crash happened at Port St. Lucie and the South West Cameo Boulevard.

The car crash started when a 2014 white Kia Forte, driven by a 43-year-old man of Port St. Lucie, was seen traveling west on Port St. Lucie Boulevard and had attempted to make a left turn to Southwest Cameo Boulevard. A 46-year-old woman of Port St. Lucie was sitting in the passenger seat.

Another 51-year-old man was driving east on the Port St. Lucie Boulevard when his 2010 white Mazda front bumper collided with the right side of the Kia Rio, Port St. Lucie police  reported.

The traffic lights in east and westbound traffic on Port St. Lucie Boulevard were all green, police reported in a news release.

Both vehicles had lost control and crashed into an electrical box and concrete light pole at the southeast corner of the intersection.

The car was on fire and the victims were pulled out from the vehicle by a witness, police added

The 43-year-old driver, the 51-year old driver and one other passenger are still in a critical condition in the hospital.
