Toddler killed in Miami-Dade hit-and-run

MIAMI, FL – A hit-and-run in northwest Miami-Dade left a toddler dead and his father critically injured on Wednesday night, CBS Miami reports. 

The accident occurred near the intersection of NW 116 Street and NW 10th Avenue. The toddler was crossing the street with both his parents when all three were struck by a vehicle.

They were all rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where the toddler later passed away. The father was critically injured but is currently listed as stable.

The driver fled the scene.
