Two injured after fiery Clewiston crash

CLEWISTON, FL – A fiery two-vehicle accident in Clewiston left two people injured on Tuesday afternoon, WPTV reports. 

The crash involved a semi-truck and a pickup truck and occurred on the 48000 block of North US Highway 27 around 3:45 p.m.

It is not clear what caused the crash. After the collision both vehicles caught fire.

Two victims were airlifted to a nearby hospital. Further information on their condition is not currently available.
