Two Injured After Vehicle Crashes into Fort Lauderdale Business

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Two people were injured and a local business sustained thousands of dollars worth of damage when a car crashed through a storefront Tuesday morning, CBS Miami reports. 

The incident occurred on East Las Olas Boulevard around 4 a.m. A silver Mercedes-Benz crashed into the store after crossing over a nearby bridge. It appeared to enter the store going backward.

Bystanders rushed to the scene to help the driver and passenger out of the car. Both suffered minor injuries but were able to walk on there own.

No further information is available on the cause of the crash.
