Two pedestrians struck in Miami, one killed

MIAMI, FL – Two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle in Miami yesterday, leaving one dead and another in critical condition, the Miami Herald reports. 

The accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. as the pedestrians attempted to cross Northwest Seventh Street outside of a crosswalk.

One of the victims, a 64-year-old woman, was killed in the crash. Another, a man in his late fifties, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

No further information on the incident has been released.
