Utility worker killed by vehicle in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A utility worker was killed in the median of a West Palm Beach street, according to WFLX. 

The victim, a 55-year-old man, was marking utilities in the median along the 3000 block of Southern Boulevard.

Around 1 p.m. the driver of a 2020 Chevrolet Malibu drifted to the left and struck the victim in the median.

The crash is believed to have been caused by distraced driving.
