Wilton Manors store owner injured in hit-and-run

WILTON MANORS, FL – A candy shop owner was injured on Tuesday afternoon when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver, Local 10 News reports. 

The accident occurred around 3 p.m. on Tuesday at To The Moon Candy Store on Wilton Drive. The victim was taking out the trash when a black sedan backed up into him, pinning him against the dumpster.

The driver then fled the scene. The victim suffered injuries to his head and arm but is expected to be alright.
