Woman hospitalized after crashing into canal in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A woman was taken to the hospital after crashing into a canal in West Palm Beach on Friday, CW 34 reports. 

The victim was an elderly woman who lost control of her silver sedan in the area of 36th Street and Townhouse Court. Her vehicle left the road and crashed through some trees before landed partially submerged in the canal.

First responders rescued the woman from her vehicle and took her to the hospital with minor injuries.

It is not known at this time why the woman lost control of the vehicle.
