Woman killed after car runs out of gas in Delray Beach

DELRAY BEACH, FL – A woman was killed in Delray Beach on Friday morning after he car ran out of gas on I-95, WPTV reports. 

The victim, a 54-year-old woman from Pompano Beach was stopped on an entrance ramp to northbound I-95 near Atlantic Avenue. She had gotton out of her Buick and walked around to the back when she was struck by a Nissan Sedan driven by a 21-year-old Delray Beach man.

She died at the scene. The driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Delray Medical Center.
