Port St. Lucie Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle accident that killed a woman and injured five others.
Emergency units responded to a crash at the intersection of St. Lucie West Boulevard and California Boulevard, according to the Port St. Lucie Police Department. The crash happened when a woman traveling west in an SUV on St. Lucie West Boulevard crashed into a vehicle traveling on California Boulevard at an intersection.
A woman in the front passenger seat of one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of that vehicle, an adult male, was transported to the hospital with injuries. Two children sitting in the back seat were transported to the hospital. A man and woman from the second vehicle were transported for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
