Woman killed in Lauderhill hit-and-run

LAUDERHILL, FL – A female pedestrian was killed in Lauderhill on Sunday morning by a driver who fled the scene, WSVN reports. 

The accident occurred around 3:15 a.m. on the 3200 block of West Broward Boulevard. A gray 2019 Range Rover Velar struck the woman as it traveled west on the roadway.

The victim sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center, where she later passed away.

The Range Rover fled the scene. Police are currently searching for the driver.
