Wrong-way crash on Gratigny Parkway leaves one dead

MIAMI, FL – One person was killed on Thursday morning in a head-on accident on Gratigny Parkway caused by a wrong-way driver.

According to CBS Miami, the crash occurred on the southbound exit ramp to State Road 826/Palmetto Expressway around 5:30 a.m. on Thursday.

A red Dodge pickup truck was travelling the wrong-way on the ramp when it collided with a westbound tractor-trailer. The driver of the pickup truck was killed in the crash.

The tractor-trailer driver was uninjured. It is not clear why the Dodge was going the wrong way.
