3 hospitalized following 5-vehicle crash on US-441

BOCA RATON, FL – Three people were taken to the hospital following a collision involving five vehicles in south Boca Raton this morning.

According to Boca News Now, the crash took place shortly before 9 a.m. along US-441 near the exit to Kimberly Boulevard.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are unclear at this time.

Initial reports were of multiple people pinned inside their vehicles. Once they were freed, three victims were taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The roadway was shut down for some time while emergency crews worked to clear the scene. All lanes were reopened a short time later.
