59-year-old pedestrian fatally struck in Boynton Beach

BOYNTON BEACH, FL – A man was fatally struck while attempting to cross a busy roadway in Boynton Beach last Friday night.

According to a report by WFLX, the man was crossing in the 300 block of Congress Avenue near Boynton Beach Boulevard when he was hit by a 2016 Lexus at about 6:30 p.m.

The man was then hit by a second vehicle, a 2014 Kia that was traveling behind the Lexus.

Police say the 59-year-old man was not walking inside the designated crosswalk when the incident occurred. No charges have been filed as of this writing.
