64-year-old bicyclist fatally struck by vehicle in NW Miami

MIAMI, FL – A bicyclist died after being struck by a vehicle in northwest Miami on Saturday morning.

According to NBC Miami, the accident took place in the 5900 block of Northwest 12th Avenue, near the intersection with 59th Street.

The 64-year-old victim, whose identity is being withheld at this time, was taken to Ryder Trauma Center, where they were pronounced dead.

The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
