Crews respond to garbage truck fire in Deerfield Beach

DEERFIELD BEACH, FL – Firefighters were called to the scene after a garbage truck went up in flames in Deerfield Beach on Tuesday.

According to WSVN, the incident took place near the intersection of Sample Road and Powerline Road.

It is unclear at this time what may have sparked the blaze. However, no injuries were reported as a result.

The intersection was shut down for some time while crews worked to clear the scene.
