Pedestrian killed after Lake Worth Beach accident

LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL – A pedestrian who was hit by a car in Lake Worth Beach on Sunday night succumbed to her injuries, WPTV reports. 

The victim was attempting to cross the street in the 700 block of South Dixie Highway when she was struck by a southbound vehicle around 7:20 p.m.

The 40-year-old woman was rushed to St. Mary’s Medical Center, where she passed away on Monday.

Local authorities are currently investigating the incident.
