Pedestrian,68, dead after getting struck by SUV in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A 68-year-old man died after he got hit by an SUV crossing the street in West Palm Beach Monday. 

The collision occurred before 11 a.m. along 45th Street, WPBF reported. 

The driver of the SUV tried to swerve out of the way to avoid hitting the pedestrian but was unsuccessful. 

The pedestrian succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No further details are available at this time.
